The audiovisual industry rewards the best enterprises, installations and productions

Within a festive atmosphere, around four hundred professionals gathered last night for the 1st Panorama Awards ceremony, awards which aim to recognize the excellence, technology development and innovation of enterprises, professionals and television, cinema, radio and advertising productions.

Established by the leading publication of the industry, Panorama Audiovisual, these awards aim to recognize the excellence, technology development and innovation of enterprises, professionals and television, cinema, radio and advertising productions.

No doubt that these awards will stimulate the industry, fostering organizations to better use technology in order to be competitive, recognizing as well the most innovative projects and productions.

Such ceremony was held concurrently with the opening of the Media Technology International Show, BIT Broadcast 2014, at the Auditorio Sur of Feria de Madrid, and was a means of sending an optimistic message. Despite all difficulties the industry has gone through, all professionals unanimously agreed that the opening of new technology standpoints within different areas of the audiovisual industry and the internationalization of companies will set, without a doubt, the path to the future.

Maria Valcarce, BIT Broadcast Director, pointed out at the opening of the ceremony the crucial role of the audiovisual industry as a whole, and how meeting-points as this one allow for the sharing of projects and ideas which are able to develop new businesses.

In turn, Antonio Castillo, Panorama Audiovisual Director, recognized that “we acknowledge the difficult times we are going through… but we also know that new technologies are opening new routes for creating, producing and broadcasting contents and consequently creating, producing and distributing enthusiasm to millions of spectators. The crisis has also made enterprises to open to new sub-industry and geographical markets, beyond our borders. Internationalization is a key factor to this change the industry is undergoing. Precisely in this context, we would like to offer you once again the support of Panorama’s editions in America and Brazil, as well as the thrust of these awards to help you to open new doors”.
