CANAL SUR TV INCORPORATES KROMA BY AEQ MONITORS FOR POST-PRODUCTION STUDIOS 17-10-2016

“Canal Sur TV” recently installed a total of 26 broadcast monitors “KROMA by AEQ. The choice of model fell on the 18” LM4018A11 manufactured by AEQ.

These monitors have been acquired to be used with the Avid Media Composer and Nitrix post-production studios and in order to have an SDI output monitoring and thus a better control of the images in the process of being edited for the daily news and more elaborated programmes.

Canal Sur have also been installed these monitors in the production studios of their regional centres as reference monitors.

Vector-scope and waveform functions displayed on the screen, allows analysis and adjustment of images in post-production, providing measurement tools and operator-level control, and simplifying both the operation and installation. The need to add specialized equipment with complex operational functions and that normally becomes less useful for the operator is avoided. The choice of the 18" monitor provides a convenient and simple desktop installation for postproduction.

The SPLIT SCREEN function allows the simultaneous display of two images. This is making colour grading and colour adjustment between the different shots easier.
