This station is also linked to La Xarxa Audiovisual Local network using AEQ codecs

This local station has been serving for more than 30 years as an information service in that town and the North Bajo Llobregat region near Barcelona, in Catalunya, Spain.

It collaborates with La Xarxa Audiovisual Local broadcast network, receiving news from other areas and to broadcast local information outside its natural area of coverage. La Xarxa communicates more than 120 associated radio stations together through AEQ Phoenix Venus audiocodecs.

Txema Verdugo, Technical Manager at Radio Abrera, also selected AEQ PHOENIX family for their exterior broadcastings. In particular, they use Phoenix ALIO to broadcast the Abrera’s Council plenary sessions, sports events, concerts and other events with informative or cultural interest within that region.

AEQ PHOENIX VENUS dual stereo channel audiocodec has been installed in the studios, providing two simultaneous stereo communications.

“AEQ PHOENIX ALIO, as a portable unit, is the perfect match for outside reporting. The unit is able to establish a main communication on channel 1 and a second, independent, coordination one on channel 2”, says Txema.
