Radio Luz a las Naciones renews its technical equipment with AEQ digital technology

THE RENEWAL INVOLVES AN UPDATE OF THE ANALOG CONSOLE, BC 300 AND THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THR ULTRA-COMPACT DIGITAL CONSOLE, AEQ CAPITOL IP

Radio Luz a las Naciones, located in Cartagena, Murcia, is a Christian radio station that, since its beginnings in 2011, has offered a diversified and religious programming.

Since its beginnings, they have been using the audio mixer for broadcast, AEQ BC 300. This analog console, launched in 1996, has satisfied the needs of Radio Luz during its first years.

In 2019, they decided to go digital and renovate their studio technically with an AEQ CAPITOL IP console, integrating the Dante AoIP module. This console allows them to be at the reach of the AoIP network at a reasonable price and offering a great performance, just as their old analog console did at the moment.

AEQ CAPITOL IP is an ultra-compact digital audio console with multi-channel AoIP network connectivity. Its control surface has been designed using silent keys, programmable keys as well as a perfect monitoring control section. IP connectivity is implemented on a single 16 inputs and 16 outputs channels module, which is embedded in the console core.

It also incorporates all the features that an ON AIR broadcast may require: automatic monitor cutting, cough cutting, fader start, signaling control, etc.

The whole project has been led by the sales manager of AEQ Mr. Eduardo Guerrero in coordination with the technical services of Radio Luz a las Naciones.
